Lake View, SC

Lake View is a surprising nice city given its size and the shape of its neighbors. Shout out. My only gripe is that, to my knowledge, there is no lake to speak of for one to view from town. There is a pond, but it is very clearly labled as a pond. So, riddle me that. 

Page's Mill Pond is a former mill that ceased operation in 1959, so says the building. I am glad they did not drain the pond as it is quite pretty. It is a dammed portion of the Bear Swamp. A nice place to watch the sunset, I'm sure.
