Mount Gilead, NC

You go to these places off the beaten trail and you never know what you're in for, especially in the southeastern part of this state. It is always nice to be greeted by a place where you would get out of your car. 

A good-sized and well-kept park that I'm happy to say I would let Dan play in. 

A boat ramp that sets you in the Pee Dee River just below the Lake Tillery dam. I mean darn, sorry for the language.
