A small mountain town along the Elk River. Wait, you think they named the park after the river? Nah. It is close to Tennessee, so that is neat. 

Believe it or not, the Elk River Falls are on the Elk River. I did not see any elks. I did see a chicken cross the road. Why that chicken did is still a mystery. I am going to swim here in the summer, I hope.
