Atlantic Beach, NC

Atlantic beach is the eastern-most town on the island of Bouge Banks. In addition to the touristy vibes, the town is home to Fort Macon, a civil war fort. I can't get good pictures of that because of the neighboring coast guard station.

Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail

A North Carolina Civil War trail attached to the Atlantic Station Shopping Center. The trail follows the Hoop Pole Creek to where it empties into the Bouge Sound.
