Bryson City, NC

A really neat town in a river valley. It has this railroad I want to go on sometime down the road. 

A really pretty turn off on NC "Moonshiner" 28. You can overlook the Fontana Lake. 

A sign at the end of Bryson City said: "Welcome to The Road to No-where, A Broken Promise, 1943-?, No More Wilderness." Seems like they were building a highway to Fontana Dam and then just stopped at the completion of this tunnel. Really cool acoustics. I'll have to bring my tuba next time and go deaf.
